I worked as a educational support assistant at Exeter House Special School and had the opportunity to visit Hillcote Residential Respite Care at an Open Day. The level of staffing care and attention to detail was fantastic. All children have their own rooms individualised, so that it really is a home from home when they stay there. There was such a warm and loving atmosphere. The carers really take the time to build a rapport with the children and their parents so that they become an extended family. Long may Hillcote continue; Salisbury would be the poorer without it..
